Every piece is cut from full-grain Italian leather, saddle-stitched by hand, and finished in our small atelier. We work with the same tanneries our makers have used for three generations.

A slower way to make, to keep, to carry.
We started Aje because we missed objects that improved with time — the patina of a wallet shaped by years in a back pocket, the soft fold of a strap molded to one shoulder.
Every hide is selected by hand. Every seam is pulled tight by a single maker, start to finish. Nothing leaves the atelier until it could last a lifetime.
